  1. I think that the achievments that impacted the world the most were the inventions of debit and credit. These had great impact on the world because people could now use credit and Merchants made money for not even doing anything. Debit allowed pwople to get money whenever they wanted it, but the buyer didnt have to carry money around with them. -Will R

  2. One achievement was their credit system like checks, now people didn't have to carry around bills eyncould just write out checks. Another achievement was their architectural wonder, the mosques. Other society's might start making their buildings look more interesting like the mosque

  3. The two Muslim achievements that I think are the most important are math/algebra and astronomy. Where would we be in the world without math? Without math, we couldn't do the simple things we love doing, like using our phones, and cooking food.
We would not be a country without astronomy. Before the gps, the stars were the best way to tell where you were in the world.

  4. I think that the achievments that impacted the world the most were the inventions of checks and credit. Checks impacted the world by making trade much easier. This was one of the causes that made the Islamic Empire more powerful. Credit also impacted the world by making merchants money. It also made trade easier which made the Islamic empire become more powerful.

  6. I think that the most important achievements of the Muslims were credit and math. I think that credit is very important and many countries use it to this day including America. I also think that math was a very important achievement of the Muslims because math is used in the everyday lives of people all around the world. Math and credit have made huge impacts on the world thanks to the Muslims.

  8. I that the most important achievement is math and cheeking. We use math in everyday in our normal, Math has a lot of various ways of solving and the Muslim have almost solved all of it. Cheeking is important because when you don't have cash on you like most people in the world they use a cheek.

  9. I think that the most important ideas that the Muslims came up with were the debit card and algebra. The debit card is very important because it is a light way to keep all of your money that would be heavy the other way. Also it makes it easier for people to keep all of their money in one place and not misplace it. The other important thing the the Muslims developed was algebra. Algebra is very important in our lives because it is very useful to find an unknown number. These are to me the most important findings of the Muslims.

  11. I think the Muslim achievements that impacts the modern world the most today are the invention of checking and the study of astronomy. Without astronomy (which may have actually helped us land on the moon), I can't imagine where we'd be today. And the invention of checking made carrying around money/currency easier along with the later invention of the debit card and credit card.

  12. I think that the achievements that impacted the world the most were the inventions of credit and checks. Credit was very important because it helped our money become very neat and organised, without credit we wouldn't be able to buy half of the items we would like to buy. Checks are very important because when you loose a check you can always cancel that check and make sure that no one can steal that money. If we still used cash for everything when people loose that cash there is an unlikley chance that you will find that cash again. Credit and checks made the Islamic Empire more powerful because it helped them keep their money in order and since it worked well for them many people enjoyed it and many people stole the idea. Since those things happened it made the Islamic Empire more powerful.

  13. The two achivements that have impacted our world today was the checks and astronomy. Checks impact our world because there are a lot of people that use checks to be able to pay for items. Astronomy has impacted our world today because most kids learn and study about astronomy in their schools today. That is why astronomy and checks have impacted our world today the most.

  14. The two most important achievements by Muslims were algebra and a new style of art.

Algebra has an innumerable number of uses in modern society and is a fundamental tool of problem solving.

Artistry by any new culture is a new perspective. and thus the culture of Islam should bring with it a unique and impressive collection of historical art.

  15. I think that the two most important Muslim achievements were checks, and algebra. Checks are important because when you want to buy something, but don't have the money with you, a check basically lets the other person take a certain amount of money out of your bank account. Also, algebra is very important in the world because you use algebra when you need to find a mathematical unknown in a problem. Those were probably the two best achievements of the Muslim empire that made them stronger.

  16. 2 Muslim achievements that are important are algebra and medicine (anesthesia),
Anesthesia is important and impacts our world because without it, we wouldn't be as medically advanced as we are now. Surgeries that are considered minor could be considered a life or death situation. Anesthesia is extremely important to our medical advancement and can save lives.
Algebra impacts the world because without it we wouldn't have as many mathematical advancements as we do. Algebra is a basis in math and without it we wouldn't have as many discovers in math or have answered as many mathematical questions

  17. 2 Muslim achievements that make an impact on our world today is algebra and astronomy. Algebra makes an impact because it helps us make buildings that wont fall down, and it helps us gain very strong business. Secondly, the Muslims made an impact on our world today because of astronomy. Astronomy helps us learn about other planets in our galaxy, and when ours ends, it will help us find another planet that can sustain life. This is how the Muslims made an impact on our society today.

  18. 2 Muslim achievements that make a large impact on our modern world is algebra and medicine. Algebra impacts us because it helps solve complex problems much more easily. It also creates job opportunities, as many jobs use algebra on a daily basis (engineer, construction). Without their creation of algebra, math might be much harder. Medicine makes an impact because it helps cure people. Our medical knowledge is so vast that doctors can find a cure to almost every sickness. If it weren't for the Muslims, we might not have as many cures and Ebola could be everywhere right now.

  19. I think that the achievemenets that impacted the world the most were the checks, and credits. Checks were important because you didn't have to carry around money. Credits were also important because it helped the money stay organized, and without credits you wouldn't be able to buy anything. Checks, and credits made the Islamic Empire more powerful because it helped them keep their money safe, and in order. Ever since they came up with that idea it has spread out all through the world, and is still going on in the world now!

  20. I think that the two most important Muslim achievements were Checks, and Algebra. Checks are important because it helps keep things organized. It helps so that people are not on the streets and don't have money (technically they don't) and can let them pay things when they do get the money. So if you really need something you can buy it using your credit card and make up the money later. But the only problem is the longer you wait, the higher the money goes up. So you could possible go into dept. Secondly, I think Algebra is also very important to Muslims because it is everything. Without math you wouldn't have the new Iphone 64 and a mansion. You would be under a rock in the cold with nothing. Without Algebra, there wouldn't be homes, schools to learn, and cars. It is a very important part of humanity and is diffidently needed everything in life.

  21. I believe that the two most important muslim achievements are checks(leading to debit cards), and algebra.

Checks are used by many people in everyday life. They make people safer from theft, due to the fact that they don't have any actual currency with them. The real money is safe in a bank somewhere, only to be accessed by the owner of the money or a person who is given access, though only able to access a designated amount.

Algebra has been essential to many achievements, including safely putting a man on the moon, and building large or interesting works of architecture.

  22. The two Muslim achievements that I think were most influential on the world were checks/credit and anesthetics. People are still using these things today, all around the world. Checks and credit cards are used by many people on the daily, because it is an easier way to pay for things. We would not as advanced as were are in the world of medicine if we didn't have anesthetics. They allow doctors to try various operations that lead to discovering more about how we keep people healthy. They are used in surgeries all of the time. This made the Muslims more powerful because it allowed them to gain money and intelligence. The merchants earned more money off of their clients and once they improved in medicine, they earned more money off of that too. These things also allowed the Muslims to become more smart. Between their intellect and money, the Muslims had more ways to gain power over people.

  23. The two Muslim achievements that I think have the most impact to the world are Mathematics and Trade. I think math has a large impact because it is still used today in problem solving and everyday life, like doing simple word problems, or large projects like building towers and bridges so that people can get around. I think mathematics led to the Islamic empire becoming more powerful, because they gained knowledge and math could help the empire to be stronger in war with knowing how many people were even in their army, to distributing a certain items to each man. Simple mathematics helped the lives of the people in the Islamic empire because they could now understand thing more in depth.
Trade also had a very large impact to the world, because without trade, the Islamic empire would be very secluded from any other empire. The Islamic empire would not have all of the goods they need to survive or wanted, like some foods that came from other areas of the world may not be received if not a system of trade was created, or if trade itself was not even a thought. I think that trade led to the empire becoming more powerful, because more expensive items that were traded with the empire could have led to the empire becoming more wealthy, and as always, wealth leads to power.
So gaining the knowledge of mathematics and using trade with other places, swapping ideas like math and art and even goods, made the Islamic empire very powerful.

  24. I believe that the two most important Muslim achievements were the studies of Algebra and Astronomy. Others may argue that checking and banking was the most influential, but the checking system would not exist without the ideas of Algebra. Without Algebra, the everyday pieces of technology would not be available to us. Astronomy is so influenceable because without the study of the stars, we would be able to use our GPS's during daylight. Also, the study of Astronomy was essential for realising how the universe began.

  25. The 2 most important Muslim Achievement was bank and math. Without Math there would be no banking. Math is used in many things today like banking, sports, computers just to name a few.
The modern world wouldn't be the same if we didn't have checks. Most people would be forced to carry around a lot of cash and that would mean that people would end up getting mugged and getting stolen from.

  26. I believe that the two most important Muslim achievements were their advances in banking and their advances in mathematics. Banking practices such as checking and credit and other practices invented by the Muslim empire are still used a lot today in our modern financial world. Algebra which was invented by the Muslim empire is also used a lot today for things such as everyday problem solving and engineering important structures such as buildings or roadways. These two achievements helped the Muslim empire become very strong and, in my opinion, were their most important achievements.

  27. I think that the most important Muslim achievement were Algebra and Astronomy. Algebra is very important because it was also the basis food their advances in banking. Achievements in math helped the Muslims build big, tall buildings and without it we would not have any of our modern day technology. I think astronomy was an important achievement because it was essential for people to understand how the world came to be in a scientific sense. These two achievements helped the Muslims build a strong and powerful empire.

  28. Two Muslim achievements that impacted the world and led the Islamic Empire to become more powerful, are checks, and math (such as algebra)
Using checks has influenced modern daily life, and most people use them as a substitute for money, Without checks, people could be robbed easier with more money nearby. This led to the Islamic Empire growing in power because they were able to gain money with less of a worry from robbery. They also gained intelligence for inventing checks.
Using math allowed people to solve problems that would help daily life. This allowed the Islamic Empire to grow in power. With new math problems, the Empire was able to grow scientifically and discover many things, leading to wealth.

  29. Two achievement s that Muslims had were learning and trade. Trade was very important because it allowed them to make more money by allowing people to pay in May different ways. This made them the most successful because they found a more advanced way of payment that no one else had. Learning was also a great achievement because it helped them invent/solve many new things because of their knowledge of these subjects. Learning helped them be the most successful because the studying of the subjects of philosophy, math, astronomy, and medicine made them the smartest allowing them to have the most advanced learning and technology of their time.

  30. The two Muslim achievements I think impacted the world the world the most are the studies in math, mainly algebra, and the advances in medicine, including anesthesia. Algebra has helped create many new technologies, and improved the safety in things such as vehicles. Many people need to use algebra for their jobs, or in problems they encounter in their daily lives. Algebra has not only allowed the Islamic Empire to grow scientifically, but has helped create much of our modern world. Medicine, including anesthesia, has also impacted the world. Anesthesia and other medicines have saved many lives, as well as creating our modern medical care. Both of these achievements have had a major impact on the world.

  31. The two Muslim achievements I think impacted the world the world the most were checks and medicine. Medicine is important because the muslims developed some of the procedures that we use today. Checks are important because that would lead to credit which we use now.

  32. The two Muslim achievements I think impacted the world the most was the studies of algebra and medicine, including anesthesia. Algebra has helped to create and improve technoligies into new and interesting programs. Algebra also helped people succeed in life by using it to solve daily struggles or problems. Also improving medicine is key to having healthy people living in the community. Having more successful medicine will help save many lives and keep advancing as they find the cures to almost every problem. Both of these achievements have majorly influenced the world.

  33. I think that the two achievements Muslims had that impacted us today were algebra and checks. I feel that those are used a lot in daily life. People use algebra to make their life easier and to solve things quicker. I feel that checks are important because people don't have to carry all their money around and it can make trading, buying, and selling a lot easier. Both of these have impacted the world in many ways today.

  34. Two accomplishments that the Muslims succeeded in doing that impacted the world are the discovery of anesthesia and checks and credit. Anesthesia has shaped the modern world, by opening doors to complex surgery and procedures without pain. It has allowed people to live longer and without out constant fear of infection (that led to amputation). Checks and credits made life for people way easier, so people who had little or nothing could buy things they really needed by taking loans, then paying it back with interest. Without checks and credit created and developed by the Muslims, people today wouldn't have credit cards or checking accounts. Those two accomplishments have impacted or world greatly and without out them, we wouldn't be here technologically and medically if they hadn't. These two accomplishments gave the Islamic Empire power, because they had more followers due to the credit and checking (easier life) and they had more knowledge over other empires (knowledge=power).

  35. Two achievements that Muslims reached that had the most impact on the world today would be the creation of algebra as well as credit and check systems. Algebra impacts us all every day; helping us calculate things to solve problems, allowing us to create great things because of the calculations that algebra allows for. Companies can do a simple equation to figure out all sorts of things that they would have to devote time and money to solve otherwise. Credit and check systems impact our world greatly today because they promote commerce and allow people to purchase many things that they couldn't had otherwise. It also improves the ability to buy things without having to worry about carrying around a bunch of cash. These things led to the Islamic Empire becoming more powerful because it increased their ability to facilitate commerce (that they would profit on) and solve many problems from taxes, to war supplies, etc.

  36. 2 very influential Muslim Achievements are Algebra and Astronomy. Algebra because it is one of the most useful forms of math (maybe the most important). We use it in everyday life, sometimes without even noticing it. Without Astronomy, we might not be here today. Without the navigation that Astronomy provided, Christopher Columbus would not have discovered the Americas and the Native Americans would still be the only type of person in North and South America.
