Nearly 90% of the native population of the Americas died during the "Age of Exploration".  Most died from disease which Europeans did not have a full understanding of scientifically.  Should Europeans be blamed for this mass-extinction?  Could this have been prevented?  Find information to support your point, and answer in no fewer than six sentences.
